江戸時代から脈々と受け継がれている滋賀県長浜市の最高級シルク生地「浜ちりめん」。
浜ちりめんの伝統技術、八丁撚糸による美しいシボ（生地の凹凸）とさらっとした肌触りが特徴です。
シルクは水分を吸い取る力が綿の1.3～1.5倍あり、水分を発散する力も約1.3倍あります。
この特性から汗を「すばやく吸収」し「素早く乾かす」ため夏は涼しく、また細かい繊維のすき間に空気をためることもできるため冬は暖かいのが特徴です。
